Pleasant Home is open to the public for weekly tours, seasonal cultural performances and community events. Please see our calendar for event information and below for weekly visiting opportunities.


Tour Schedule

Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday

- Docent Guided at 12 & 1pm (additional 11am tour on Saturdays)

- Self-Guided at 2:00-4:00pm


Pricing - Members are always free!

Docent Guided:

- Adults $10

- Seniors 65+/Students 18+ with i.d. $8

- Children under 18 $5

- Children under 5 are free

- Free admission for Illinois teachers!



- $5 per person Friday - Sunday, Thursdays are FREE!

Supporting our Military

Blue Star Museum 2014Pleasant Home participates in the Blue Star Museums collaboration, providing free admission to the nation's active-duty personnel and their families from Memorial Day - Labor Day.


Tour and Tea

Located at the corner of Pleasant Street and Home Avenue, just steps from downtown Oak Park, shopping, restaurants, Frank Lloyd Wright’s Home & Studio and Unity Temple.



By train: Take the CTA Green Line or Metra UP-W line to Harlem.  Exit south and walk 5 blocks to Pleasant St. Walk east 3 blocks. Pleasant Home will be on the right at the corner of Pleasant St. and Home Ave. 

By car: Take the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) to Harlem Ave.  Exit north and go 5 blocks to Pleasant Street.  Go east 3 blocks.  Pleasant Home will be on the right at the corner of Pleasant St. and Home Ave.
